Summer camp 13 – 17 July Lochgoilhead Scout Centre
Since 1965 The Lochgoilhead Centre has been providing young people with the opportunity to experience fun and adventure. Starting originally in a garden on the shores of Loch Goil it has grown to become a fully catered 150 bedded centre with a professional highly qualified and motivated staff The Lochgoilhead Centre offers a wide range of activities both on water and land. All activities are supervised and taught to the highest standards by qualified staff
Is in a lodge has a maximum capacity of 12, in six rooms. Each room has two single beds and private WC & shower.
Activities on offer
Three main meals are provided each day in the central dining area. All meals are prepared on site and the staff are happy to work to accommodate any special dietary needs, but faddy eating is not encouraged. Those who have any special dietary needs should contact the leader with requirements prior to arrival. Packed lunches and expedition meals are available by arrangement.

Pasta with Bolognese, cheese or tomato sauce
Breaded cod, chips, peas and salads
Steak Pie, potatoes, 2 vegetables
The cost for 5 days including transport, accommodation, activities and food will be Approx. £230 … a deposit of £25 would be required.
The Scout Troop will run a number of fund raising events to help defray the cost and operate a camp bank where monthly payments can be made. The camp bank is now open and if you want to make monthly payments then that’s fine it will banked in your name and you can have access to it for activities and camps.
The first fund raiser will be a bag pack at Morrison’s Cowdenbeath 29th Nov
